Ballybunion - Two links courses acclaimed worldwide, Ballybunion Golf Club was formed in August 1893, just 14 months after the formation of the Golfing Union of Ireland and boasts two separate and highly challenging links courses, which are famed throughout the world.
Ballybunion has been challenged by many of the greats including Tiger Woods, Tom Watson, Jack Nicklaus, Lee Trevino, Greg Norman, Peter Thomson, Mark O'Meara, Nick Faldo, Ian Baker Finch, the late Payne Stewart, Ernie Els, Ben Crenshaw, Ian Woosnam, Jerry Pate, Ken Venturi and former American President - William Jefferson Clinton.

Ballybunion has a clubhouse that sets the tone for, or rounds off, an enjoyable days golfing. It boasts ultra modern locker rooms, showers and steam room; a choice of three bars; a dining room with magnificent views of the course and Atlantic coastline, and a golf and gift shop.
